A Select Tours NYC tour is a delightful outing for everyone. As “Native New Yorkers” we thoroughly enjoyed every minute of our Central Park Tour just as much as our first-time, “Out-of-Towners” did!

As a Tour Guide, Beth Goffe displays her love and knowledge of NYC with exceptional poise and a unique sparkle. Step by step she gradually imparts her insights; along the way, as she shares information and stories, the docent recedes and a trifold friendship develops between, Beth, NYC and you.

We have participated in two Central Park Tours with Select Tours NYC and plan to continue exploring more of our beloved city with Beth for years to come.

Great tour of Central Park. Beth was friendly and knowledgeable. She tailored the tour based on our interests and pointed out details we definitely would have missed on our own. Would definitely do another tour with her when we return.

I asked Beth to lead a tour of Central Park for a group of 15 Master’s students from Europe. She showed up promptly and immediately established a rapport with the students. The two-hour tour included most of the highlights of the southern portion of the park and Beth introduced many of the landmarks, highlighting the historical, architectural and social aspects of their construction and placement. In our post-tour discussion, the students were very happy, calling it an “essential event” and saying Beth was “great” and “really informative,” appreciating her “down-to-earth approach” and the fact that she “listened to all our questions and answered them.” One even raved that “I feel we could have spent twice as long learning about the park!”

Beth did a tour of Central Park with my teenage daughters and parents and I on a very humid day. We felt beat down; it didn't seem to affect her in the least. She was very nice and extremely informative and just gave a great tour. She knows every nook and cranny in Central Park, as far as I can tell. Beth had a lot of really interesting stories involving the history of the park, and later, when I heard one of my teenage daughters sharing some of those historical stories with her mom, I realized just how good of a tour guide she was. She tells historical stories that stay with you.
